I am Chris Hankel, and I have been a pastor for over 35 years. I am committed to the church and the body of Christ because I believe that God has a plan and a purpose for every person, and I hope to help you discover and live out that purpose.
My wife Stacey and I grew up in Richland, WA (go Bombers), and we have come to love our community and the people of Hermiston. We feel blessed to live in an area with so many opportunities for outdoor activities such as hunting and fly fishing (my favorite activity). As a family, we enjoy sightseeing and camping throughout the Pacific Northwest and enjoying everything the outdoors offers.
I believe the church is not a building but a community of people who love God, His Word, and one another. My commitment is not to build a bigger church but to build bigger people.
