Got Questions

Got questions is a fantastic website/search engine to help you answer most all of your faith related questions. Just type a word, phrase or question into their search bar and a number of different articles on that topic will appear. I have found it to not only be complete but reliable in its offerings.

The Gospel Coalition is a great source for podcasts, articles, books, vids, and a host of other reasources to help you grow in your journey.

The CSB Bible

The Christian Standard Bible is my go to translation. Some Bible translations sacrifice accuracy for readability, and some sacrifice readability for accuracy. The CSB is both readable and accurate. It is, in my humble opinion, the best contemporary translation available.

The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis

Lewis’ iconic book about an imaginary conversation between demon Screwtape and his nephew, Wormwood. A great book to help you understand the schemes of the Devil.

Supernatural by Michael Heiser

Dr. Michael S. Heiser, was a Scholar-in-Residence at Faithlife Corporation. He presents fifteen years of research on what the Bible really says about the unseen world of the supernatural, unfiltered by tradition or by theological presuppositions. People shouldn’t be protected from the Bible, Dr. Michael S. Heiser says, but theological systems often do just that, by explaining away difficult or troublesome passages of Scripture because their literal meaning doesn’t fit into our tidy systems.

Who were the sons of God? Who were the Nephilim? Where do angels fit into the supernatural hierarchy? Why did God find it necessary to have the Israelites destroy the populations of entire cities man, woman, and child? What relation does Jesus bear to the rest of the supernatural world? Dr. Michael S. Heiser tackles these questions and many more in his books Supernatural and The Unseen Realm.
